IN-GAME UPDATES
10:01 - NAVS WIN, 4-3! Chris Prescott pitched two perfect innings to earn the save.
9:27 - Going into the 8th inning, it's still 4-3 Navigators. Chris Prescott, a small righthander, is in to pitch.
9:07 - A frisbee-catching dog provided entertainment earlier for the crowd. It's 4-3 North Shore after 6.
9:01 - The Navs have rallied ... with the bases loaded and one out Tyler Kuehl bounced a 2-run single up the middle to give NS a 4-3 lead. That chased Syborg from the game. Eric Smith is in to relieve him.
8:55 - Around 2,000 fans are in attendance tonight. Spectacular.
8:43 - Jimmy Lisowski is done for the day. He went 5.2 innings, giving up 3 runs so far on 4 hits.
He leaves a runner on first base with 2 outs for the new pitcher, #44 Mike Gallo.
Jimmy Lisowski is currently on the hook.

8:40 - The Navs scored a run in the 5th to make it 3-2.
8:12 - Things have taken a turn for the worse thru 3 1/2 as John Hill had an adventure of an inning behind the plate. The leadoff hitter, Nick Harris walked, and then reached 2nd and 3rd on a pair of passed balls before scoring on a single by Kevin Neito. Later in the inning, Neito scored on another passed ball by Hill. Then, to make matters worse, Hill's attempt to throw out Jon Hurst stealing 3rd went into left field, allowing Hurst to walk in with the 3rd run of the inning. It's 3-1 Vermont in the bottom of the 4th.
7:54 - Still 1-0 Navs here in the bottom of the third inning. Lisowski has settled in quite nicely. 0-2-1 for VT, 1-4-0 for NS.
7:28 - I have a feeling that Kent Graham is going to be a crowd favorite. He ripped a double to left which scored Mike Provencher to give the Navs the early 1-0 lead.
7:21 - After loading the bases, Lisowski escaped the first inning. The first batter in Navs history, Justin Little, ripped a base hit to right but was thrown out trying to stretch it to a double.
7:08 - Navs have taken the field. Play ball. Vermont's Greg Sherry is the first batter in NS Navs history. First pitch at 7:10 is.......strike one.
7:04 - I'm a bit of a pessimist, so I didn't expect a huge crowd... it's definitely surpassed my expectations. Easily over 1,000. Probably in the 1,500 range. Beautiful. The coaches are meeting at home plate. Game on.
6:59 PM - Well, this is a surprise. It started to rain. Just a sunshower, no big deal, but it was definitely unexpected .6:57 PM - Players are being introduced to a good-sized, energetic crowd.
6:52 PM - Pregame ceremonies are under way. Chomps is out to greet the fans.
